REFUND POLICY
We stand behind what we sell. We install these same fixtures in homes we build and
renovate in Detroit — if something is wrong with your order, we’ll fix it. Here is how returns
work, plainly.
30-day returns on new, uninstalled items
You may return most items within 30 days of delivery or pickup for a full refund of the
purchase price, provided the item is:
- Uninstalled and unused
- In its original packaging with all hardware, hoses, and components
- Accompanied by your order number
Email store@4850Bellevue.com to start a return — please don’t ship anything back without contacting us first. Returns sent without authorization can’t be processed.
Installed items cannot be returned
Once a faucet, shower set, lock, or any fixture has been installed — even briefly — it cannot be returned. This is standard across the plumbing and hardware industry: an installed fixture can’t be resold as new. Please confirm sizing, finish, and compatibility before installation.
We’re happy to help you check fit before you buy or before you install — that’s a two-minute email that saves everyone a bad day.
Defective items are different
If an item is defective out of the box, that’s on us, not you. Contact us within 48 hours of discovering the defect and we’ll replace it or refund you in full, including any return shipping. Photos help us resolve this fastest.
Final sale items
The following are sold final sale and are not returnable:
- Salvaged and reclaimed items, which are sold as-is and described honestly, character marks included
- Original art
- Custom and special-order items, including custom-sized mirrors
- Items marked clearance or final sale
Mirrors
Mirrors are inspected together at pickup or delivery. Your acceptance at handoff confirms
the mirror arrived in good condition; glass damage reported afterward cannot be claimed.
This protects both of us — you never take home a flawed mirror, and we never field a claim for glass we didn’t break.
Return shipping and refund timing
Unless an item is defective or we made an error, return shipping is paid by the customer.
There is no restocking fee. Once we receive and inspect your return, your refund is issued
to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Exchanges
The fastest route is a return plus a new order — your refund processes while the
replacement ships, instead of one waiting on the other.
